Scholl Concepts S40 Box Set contains a 250g bottle of S40 compound, a small Scholl Concepts DuoPad dual applicator and a 40x40cm Scholl Concepts Red MicroPLUS Cloth for polishing delicate paint surfaces or removing dirt and dust on interior surfaces.
S40 is the finest of the Scholl Concepts compounds based on a highly refined aluminium oxide. A microfine Nano-Compound, it can remove light defects such as 5000 grit sanding marks, fine microscratches, swirl marks and holograms and is recommended for dark car paints - scratch-resistant or conventional.
The extremely fine nano-particles guarantee an outstanding final finish with an unmatched deep gloss. Cut and gloss levels can be regulated using different polishing pads (see below for recommendations).
Silicone free, it is suitable for use on fresh or used paintwork and with rotary (1000-2000 RPM) or dual action (2000-10000 RPM) machine polishers or by hand using the DuoPad applicator included in the box set (see application instructions below).

The small Scholl Concepts DuoPad included in the box set is two applicators in one for multi-purpose applications. Use the harder white foam surface for compound application to remove signs of daily wear and tear or the softer black side for wax, dressing and sealant application. Any wax, compound or sealant residues that remain after application should be wiped off with the red MicroPLUS cloth. After use, the DuoPads can be washed and reused. They are suitable for use on vehicle interiors and exteriors. Size: 95mm.

All are packaged in the same smart Scholl Concepts presentation box, along with a small DuoPad applicator and Red MicroPLUS cloth.
In general, use the fine-pored, relatively hard Orange Pad with a hard backing pad. You should also use this combination to eliminate holograms and haze on dark paints. (NEVER use the microfine S40 compound in combination with the super soft Black Softouch Waffle Pad.)
For manual application, apply with the White Hand Puck or even the Black Hand Puck on sensitive surfaces or use the white or black side of the DuoPad applicator included in the set (this is the made from the same high quality foams as the White and Black Hand Pucks).
The ergonomic shape and premium foam of the pucks creates even pressure distribution, enabling manual removal of light scratches and swirl marks, leaving an unmatched, deep gloss finish.
Apply a few small drops of S40 directly on the puck or white side of the DuoPad and a few small drops on the surface to be polished. Rub with moderate pressure, in circular or straight line movements (according to your preference/technique). If the puck or pad starts to dry, apply a few more drops of S40 and continue polishing.
Do not apply too much polishing compound as it will build a lubricating film which hinders the removal rate. Wipe off polish residue with a soft polishing cloth.
The pucks and DuoPad are also ideal for removing scratches around door handles and other difficult-to-access areas.
